Black History Month - Participate, Learn, Recognize
February is Black History Month which provides all Canadians with an opportunity to become better informed about the contributions made by Black Canadians throughout history, as well as insight into their experiences.
SLC Introduces Pathway to Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology
SLC has introduced a new pathway to its Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology, allowing current students and graduates (from the last five years) of the Behavioural Science program advanced diploma to enter the third year of the degree program.
SLC to Play Key Role in Building Health Innovation Ecosystem
Last week, FedDev Ontario announced an investment of $3 million for the City of Kingston in partnership with Queen’s University, St. Lawrence College, GreenCentre Canada, Kingston Health Sciences Centre, and Kingston Economic Development Corporation, to establish a health innovation ecosystem in the region.
SLC Launches Hospitality and Tourism Training Program Pilot
A new pilot project will train and develop workers for the hospitality industry in Kingston and Smiths Falls. The program will offer critical training to help the tourism sector in the aftermath of the economic losses due to the pandemic.
