Sustainable Kingston Hosted the Virtual 2021 Climate Change Symposium
SLC was pleased to co-sponsor the 2021 Sustainable Kingston Climate Change Symposium in partnership with the City of Kingston. The virtual symposium brought together climate champions to the latest developments on community-based climate initiatives and was emceed by SLC’s Sustainability Manager, Brooke Gilmour.
Kingstonians: Help Shape Your City’s Economic Recovery
The City of Kingston is conducting a Community and Consumer Confidence Survey, which is now live. The survey was created as part of a Queen’s University PhD-Community Initiative, in conjunction with City Communications and the Community Confidence Working Group, which SLC is part of.
Therapeutic Recreation Students Partner with Kingston Gets Active
Throughout March, SLC Therapeutic Recreation students will be offering a variety of live virtual leisure programs for Kingstonians of all ages and abilities in a partnership with Kingston Gets Active (KGA). The activity sessions will be hosted on Zoom for anyone to view and join in!
