Several in-person classes will proceed during the January lockdown.

Welcome to the Class of 2020 page!

This has been created as a home base to answer questions about your graduation and convocation. This page will be updated in coming weeks as more details are confirmed.

Having to cancel our traditional spring convocation ceremonies was a heartbreaking decision for SLC. The COVID-19 pandemic made it impossible to gather in person with classmates, faculty, family and friends to celebrate your achievements. You have already proven that you can adapt to unexpected circumstances as you completed your studies online, and this is another time when your resilience will shine through.

Watch the message below from SLC’s President and CEO, Glenn Vollebregt.

St. Lawrence College appreciates this has been an unusual year for the Class of 2020 graduates and that receiving a physical credential, in addition to the digital credential, is an important part of finishing an academic journey.

As of December 8, 2020, the Registrar’s Office team has begun the process of sending paper credentials to the Class of 2020. When your paper credential is ready, you will be emailed a link to a form which must be completed with your current address in order to receive your credential.

Please note that credentials will be ready in groups, and we anticipate it will take until the end of January 2021 to reach out to everyone.

Update, January 2021: While current addresses will continue to be collected, there will be delays in mailing out any credentials until after the Ontario provincial lockdown is lifted and staff is permitted to safely return to campus.

Please continue to check your SLC email.
