St. Lawrence College Marketing students brought home the silver award at the 2014 Canadian Marketing Association Student Case Study Awards Gala held at the Westin Habour Castle in Toronto, December 5, 2014.

The SLC team of Emily Culhane, Daniel Beals, Prabhii Singh and Abdu Omari, as well as the teams from  George Brown College and Mohawk College, were each challenged to create an integrated marketing campaign for the fictional car sharing company, “Cars On The Go.”

"With more than 30 entries from post-secondary schools from across Canada, I am extremely proud of our students, their hard work and dedication really paid off!” said Kathleen Wright, Business professor and faculty advisor to the team. “They submitted a solid marketing communications plan, with the realistic outcomes and all the measurability and benchmarks that businesses today are looking for."

The CMA Awards Student Case Study is a learning assessment in the Winter Semester of the Integrated Marketing Communications course for the second year marketing students.

"After lots of hard work, my team and I are very pleased with our award. We received so much support from our faculty and felt honoured to have had the opportunity to attend the gala," said Emily Culhane, third year Marketing student.
