SLC is expanding access to its in-person Supply Chain Management Graduate Certificate program in Cornwall with a new full-time online delivery beginning in January 2027, building on the program’s focus on practical, industry-relevant learning.

St. Lawrence College (SLC) is inviting students, employees, alumni, community members, and industry partners to participate in virtual engagement opportunities regarding the planned integration of SLC and Fleming College.   SLC and Fleming College have been working toward creating a stronger, more sustainable institution that can expand access to education, respond to regional workforce needs, and continue to best serve students, employers, and communities across Eastern Ontario.

Two Nursing faculty members at St. Lawrence College (SLC) have received $350,000 in funding over three years to lead a study aimed at improving support for family members who make critical mental health care decisions on behalf of loved ones. The project was one of only 57 funded proposals selected by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) through their College and Community Social Innovation Fund (CCSIF) from 147 applications, reflecting the significance and potential impact of the research.

SLC is expanding its portfolio of specialty nursing education offerings with the introduction of three new certificate programs designed to support registered nurses seeking advanced knowledge and specialized skills in high-demand areas of healthcare: Mental Health Nursing, Registered Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), and Registered Nurse Perianesthesia Nursing (PACU). These flexible, online programs help nurses advance their careers while continuing to work in their communities.
