St. Lawrence College Appointments Executive Director, Digital Technology and Innovation
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nelly Radfar as the new Executive Director, Digital Technology and Innovation. Nelly began her new role on August 18, 2025.  Nelly brings over two decades of experience in digital transformation, innovation leadership, and customer experience strategy, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology modernization initiatives across global and national organizations.    
St. Lawrence College Appoints New Director, Indigenous Initiatives
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Lindsay Brant as Director, Indigenous Initiatives. Dr. Brant began in her new role to strengthen SLC’s commitment to Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Being on August 18, 2025.   Dr. Brant brings extensive expertise in Indigenous education and curriculum development and most recently served as Associate Director, Indigenous Curriculum Development at Queen’s University Health Sciences, as well as teaching in its Master of Health Professions Education program. Brant also recently co-created the acclaimed course, "Relationships and Reconciliation in Business and Beyond" with the Smith School of Business. 
SLC Launches Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
SLC is thrilled to announce the introduction of an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program, supported by a $500,000 investment announced by the Ontario government to enhance nursing education delivery across the province. The enhanced program will be available across all three SLC campuses addressing critical nursing workforce needs while providing students with innovative learning technologies.  
St. Lawrence College and Watersheds Canada Partner for Shoreline Planting Event
St. Lawrence College (SLC) volunteers and Watersheds Canada’s Natural Edge program joined forces on the SLC Cornwall campus for their annual shoreline planting event. The initiative, which took place Thursday, May 22, is focused on restoring and protecting the campus shoreline and is part of Natural Edge program, a Watersheds Canada program that is delivered nationally to enhance shoreline habitats, water quality, and control erosion.  
SLC Celebrates Convocation, June 19 and 20 in Kingston 
St. Lawrence College will hold its spring Convocation ceremonies in Kingston at the Slush Puppie Place on Thursday, June 19 and Friday, June 20, 2024. Some 3,000 will graduate in three ceremonies from programs such as Nursing, Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology, Music and Digital Media, Veterinary Technician, Wind Turbine, and more. This year marks the first graduating class from SLC’s standalone Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program — a major milestone for the College.
