St. Lawrence College launches digital health and wellness magazine for its students

Do you want to learn how to cook a healthy meal in less than 10 minutes? Or maybe access videos featuring quick and quiet fitness routines you can do at home? You can do that, and more, with the new digital health and wellness magazine, Student Health 101, just launched on Thursday, November 14 by Student Services at St. Lawrence College.

The magazine will feature campus specific events, as well as information on accessing campus resources. Feature articles will offer action steps or ‘how to’ advice on topics you want to hear more about – help with your academic life, relationships, stress management, and much more. A special interactive feature: ‘Join the Conversation’ will allow you to weigh in with your opinions.

“We’re really excited to be launching this online magazine for our students,” said Glenn Vollebregt, President and CEO of St. Lawrence College. “In addition to academics, college life includes many lifestyle issues and concerns, and Student Health 101 is one more way we are attempting to meet students’ needs while they’re here at SLC.”

Created to address many aspects of college life, Student Health 101 features ‘Ask the Doc’, the App of the Month, lifestyle tips, fact or fiction trivia, health and wellness videos, such as cooking classes and workouts, and even a chance to win $1,000 each month!

SLC students will be able to enjoy this relevant, informative, and entertaining monthly magazine on our college website
