SLC strikes gold—again!

For the fourth year running St. Lawrence College Esthetician students brought home medals from the Ontario Skills Competition held in Kitchener/Waterloo on April 30. The winning students are Chloe McCauley, who won the gold medal, and Chloe Gray who won silver. Chloe McCauly will compete in the National Skills Competition, to be held in Edmonton May 14 and 15.

"Bringing home a gold medal was affirmation that St. Lawrence College's Esthetician program is truly one of the best programs offered," said Chloe McCauley. "Everyone who has been a part of the incredible training has been an outstanding role model for the growth and development of young women, and I am honoured to be a part of this year's graduating class."

Students were competing against colleges from across the province in advanced facial, manicure with nail art, pedicure, bridal and fantasy make up.

"It has been an unbelievable journey studying and working with everyone here in the Esthetician Program at St. Lawrence College. Thank you to all of my teachers for the best training possible," said Chloe Gray.
