A perfect show for the holiday season


The St. Lawrence College Music Theatre Performance program is pleased to present the holiday musical, Irving Berlin’s, White Christmas. The show will run December 9 to 11, 8 pm, with a matinee performance on December 12 at 2 pm at the newly renovated Brockville Arts Centre.

Irving Berlin wrote well over a thousand songs during his long career, but his best-loved song is undoubtedly "White Christmas." The classic ballad became a Broadway musical full of nostalgia, holiday humour, and celebration. It’s the perfect holiday show for the whole family. Featuring some of his most memorable music such as "Blue Skies", "White Christmas", and "How Deep Is the Ocean" this glorious Broadway musical, White Christmas, celebrates our dreams of the perfect holiday season which represents our desires for the perfect life.

"White Christmas is a musical about hope, about home, wherever and whenever that is," said the shows director and Music Theatre program coordinator, Michael Bianchin. "Irving Berlin provided us with sentiments to last for decades and our show promises to be the perfect gift for the whole family, as well as another wonderful success for the Music Theatre Program."

The show also featuring outstanding choreography by Janet Venn-Jackson and uplifting Music Direction by Christopher Coyea.
