Ontario Colleges Very Disappointed to be Shut Out of Trades Training Announcement
Ontario colleges are very disappointed to be shut out of the Ontario government’s announced funding for new skilled trades training centres. The Ontario government announced it is investing $224 million to build and upgrade private training centres and will spend $75 million over the next three years on operations and programming at the centres. It is inexplicable that colleges are excluded from the funding.

Ontario’s colleges have released a new set of common sector-wide standards to strengthen the programs and supports for international students. The standards build on existing programs and services and cover everything from the marketing of programs in other countries to targeted assistance to help students adapt to life in Ontario. 
Building Behavioural Solutions Conference Returns to SLC
The A. Britton Smith Centre for Behavioural Studies at SLC will host the 11th annual Building Behavioural Solutions Conference April 14, 2023, on SLC’s Kingston campus. The conference will bring together clinicians, professionals, and students in the fields of Applied Behaviour Analysis, mental health and counselling, education, organizational behaviour management, and other applicable fields to explore the broader application of behaviour science.
