Event Overview
Visit the Indigenous Centre on Tuesday, June 21 to connect with the Indigenous Team and fellow employees and students. Indigenous art will be on display throughout the day, learn more about the 7 Grandfather Teachings, and complete a Pledge of Reconciliation.
9:00 – 10:00am – Opening – Thanksgiving Address (in Mohawk and English)
10:30 – 11:30 – Jeopardy Game – Getting to Know Your Indigenous Communities
11:30 – 1:00 – Lunch – Fry Bread, Strawberry drink, Mush
1:00 – 3:00 – Visit the Indigenous Centre for conversation and sharing history on and around the exhibits displaying crafts, clothing, instruments, baskets, art, wampum
3:15 – 3:30 - Smudge/Close
