Event Overview

International students studying on the Cornwall campus are invited to join us for a FREE fun-filled and creative Friday afternoon in the community on March 17!Take a break to join us downtown at the Cornwall Public Library for an interactive, creative workshop with local filmmaker and artist, Yaffa Goawily! Meet Yaffa – originally from Egypt – who has lived and worked all over the world and now happily calls Cornwall home. We’ll all learn from Yaffa’s experience and from each other’s stories during this fun-filled event. The afternoon will also include a tour of the Cornwall Public Library and the chance to learn more about all of the wonderful services (e.g. 3D printing, music editing, resources), borrowing services (e.g. books, movies, laptops, VR headsets) and programming (e.g. English Conversation Circles, trivia, special events) available to you as residents of Cornwall! With seating limited (45 students), don’t forget to register on URSLC - we hope to see you there!
