Job Title: Student Employment On-Campus Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY
Reports to the Talent Acquisition Advisor, and under the guidance of the designate, the student incumbent works up to 12-hours per week (may include evenings and/or weekends), providing assistance in greeting and guiding customers and performing limited administrative related tasks to gain work experience while supporting the operations of the department. The successful incumbent demonstrates strong customer-service, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills, combined with an ability to work under pressure, and problem-solve while working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to student and staff inquiries about the Student Employment on Campus program.
- Prepare and post approved student SEC employment job opportunities to fill positions in a timely manner.
- Receive, verify, organize, and forward completed applications to hiring supervisors.
- Promote SEC program through both written materials, print advertising, and information seminars.
- Present Student Employee Orientations throughout the year to new students.
- Ensure that the Student Employment on Campus Program meets all program policies and requirements.
- Collect, track, compile and organize data for various reports.
- On occasion, may be asked to perform other duties as assigned, such as special functions (i.e., orientation, open house, special projects, etc.)
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Other Required Qualifications:
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management, strong organizational skills, and an attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively work independently with instruction, or collaboratively as part of a team.
- General knowledge of standard computer applications (MS word, Excel, Teams, & Email).
- High degree of integrity for maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Salary & Terms
- Start Rate: $17.95/hour, (plus 6% in lieu of vacation)
- Hours per week: 12.00

Terms of Employment:
- Must be currently enrolled in Full-Time studies at St. Lawrence College.
- Must be in good academic standing for full duration of employment.
