    POSITION SUMMARY

    Incumbent reports to Associate Registrar, Admissions, Pathways and Convocation, and under the guidance of the designate, will work up to 15-hours per week, providing assistance in the execution of small development projects and performing tasks to gain work experience while supporting the operations of the Registrar’s Office. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assists with administrative-related tasks, including updating or entering data into specific systems,  and preparing reports when required.
    • Attends meetings when requested.
    • Aids in the implementation of new projects, providing project ideas, and working with existing project plans.
    • Support self-registration activity by developing training materials (videos/documents) for both students and staff.
    • Keep the self-registration web-page updated with new/updated content/important dates.
    • Support the communication plans for self-registration  related activities. This would be for both students and college staff.
    • Develop a timeline for standard comms releases. Update existing comms, create new messaging
    • Performs other miscellaneous, related duties as assigned by the designate, with occasional duties specific to special functions (e.g., orientation or open house events, convocation)

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

    Other Required Qualifications:

    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Comfortable with creating training videos
    • Resourceful
    • Time management, strong organizational skills, and an attention to detail.
    • Strong initiative and ability to effectively work independently with instruction, or collaboratively as part of a team.
    • General knowledge of standard computer applications (MS word, Excel, Teams, & Email).
    • High degree of integrity for maintaining confidentiality at all times.

    Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements: 

    The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location and work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.

    Salary & Terms

    • Start Rate: $17.60/hour, (plus 6% in lieu of vacation)
    • Hours per week: Up to 15.00

    Terms of Employment:

    • Must be returning to Full-Time studies in the Fall 2025 semester.
    • Must be in good academic standing for full duration of employment.
