Job Title: Student Administrative Assistant - Legal/Corporate Services

POSITION SUMMARY
Incumbent reports to Department Manager, and under the guidance of the designate will work up to 12- hours per week for no more than 15- weeks. The employee will assist with the reviewing, cataloguing, and electronically filing/archiving agreements. The employee would assist in uploading agreements into Bonfire, input required data, create reminders (tickler system) and invite agreement owners on Bonfire. This work requires the employee to be on-campus working with the Risk, Contracts & Insurance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative-related tasks, including updating or entering data into specific systems, scheduling, programming, and preparing reports when required.
- Attend meetings when requested.
- Assists in organizing and planning upcoming department events.
- Aid in the implementation of new projects, providing project ideas, and working with existing project plans.
- Perform other miscellaneous, related duties as assigned by the designate, with occasional duties specific to special functions ( e.g., orientation or open house events, award dinners).
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Other Required Qualifications:
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively work independently with instruction, or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Understanding and efficient using standard computer applications (Adobe, MS word, Excel, Teams, Email, & Sharepoint).
- Adaptable with the ability to problem solve
- High degree of integrity for maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Salary & Terms
- Start Rate: $17.95 /hour, (plus 6% in lieu of vacation)
- Hours per week: 12.00

Terms of Employment:
- Must be currently enrolled in Full-Time studies at St. Lawrence College OR returning to Full-Time studies in the immediate upcoming semester.
- Must be in good academic standing for full duration of employment.
