Job Title: Student Administrative Assistant - Legal/Corporate Services

POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent will report to the Department Manager and, under the guidance of the designated supervisor, will work up to 12 hours per week. Responsibilities include reviewing, cataloguing, and electronically filing/archiving agreements, as well as uploading agreements into Bonfire, entering required data, creating reminders (tickler system), and inviting agreement owners on Bonfire. This role requires on-campus presence, working within the executive suite and/or the office of the Risk, Contracts & Insurance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides customer service handling requests or concerns and answering questions to students and visitors whether in person, by phone or email.
- Assist with administrative-related tasks, including updating or entering data into specific systems, scheduling, and programming, preparing reports when required.
- Attend meetings when requested.
- Assists in organizing and planning upcoming department events.
- Aid in the implementation of new projects, providing project ideas, and working with existing project plans.
- Perform other miscellaneous, related duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Other Required Qualifications:
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management, strong organizational skills, and an attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively work independently with instruction, or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Above average knowledge of standard computer applications (MS word, Excel, Teams, Email, OneNote & Adobe).
- Adaptable with the ability to problem solve
- High degree of integrity for maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Salary & Terms
- Start Rate: $17.60/hour, (plus 6% in lieu of vacation)
- Hours per week: 12.00

Terms of Employment:
- Must be returning to Full-Time studies in the Fall 2025 semester.
- Must be in good academic standing for full duration of employment.
