SAIL to Success

Short for Supporting Accessible & Inclusive Learning, this event is designed for new, first-year students transitioning from a Canadian high school who self-identify as having a disability (e.g., had an IEP in high school) and who will be seeking accessibility services from Student Wellness and Accessibility. The event focuses on self-advocacy, peer connections, and specialized services for students with disabilities.

Benefits of attending:

  • Enjoy connecting with peers, assistive technologist, learning strategist, and counsellors;
  • Learn helpful strategies to manage the transition to college;
  • Review available services;
  • Chance to win prizes!

SAIL to Success is held at the beginning of both the Fall and Winter semesters, in early September and January.
