Every academic year, Student Wellness & Accessibility holds transition events for all students with disabilities and functional limitations. These events are intended to provide information about specialized services and resources in an engaging and supportive environment.
SAIL to Success
Short for Supporting Accessible & Inclusive Learning, this event is for any first-year student who self-identifies as having a disability (e.g. had an IEP in high school, plan to access academic accommodations). The event focuses on self-advocacy, peer connections, and specialized services for students with disabilities.
Benefits of attending:
- Enjoy connecting with peers, assistive technologist, learning strategist, and counsellors
- Learn helpful strategies to manage the transition to college
- Review available services
- Chance to win prizes!
SAIL to Success is held at the beginning of both the Fall and Winter semesters. Watch this page to access more details and information closer to those times, or feel free to contact us (see below), in the meantime.

- Employee Rights & Responsibilities
- Disability Disclosure
- SLC Career Services
- Connections with Community Employment Agencies
