The International Centre is excited to welcome all new and returning students; virtually and on campus! Studying may look different right now, and we want to make your experience and transition to a new learning environment as smooth as possible.
We encourage you to get involved, and stay as connected as possible this semester. Let’s get ready for a great year!
We recommend all new students join a Pre-Departure session before travelling to Canada, or joining their program virtually. In these sessions you will learn more about immigration information and documents required to enter Canada, quarantine expectations, using the iCent App, life in Canada, and what to expect upon arrival. These sessions will provide you the information you need to travel with ease and be prepared.
- Thursday, July 29th at 9:30 am EST
- Thursday, August 5th at 9:30 am EST
- Thursday, August 12th at 9:30 am EST

Parent + Family Session
If you are a parent and are travelling to Canada with your family, join us to learn about enrolling your children in school with Limestone District School Board. The school board covers Kingston and the surrounding area, and therefore will only be applicable to Kingston campus families at this time.
The session will cover:
- Information about the elementary and secondary school system in Canada
- Supports available for school-age children
- Immigration documentation for dependents (spouses and children)
- Helpful tips while preparing your move with your family.
A representative from Limestone District School Board will join the session to answer any questions you have.
- Thursday, July 8th at 9:30 am EST
- Tuesday, August 24th at 9:30 am EST
Whether beginning your studies at St. Lawrence College in Canada, or outside of Canada we have the resources you need to get started. If you are beginning your studies outside of Canada, please note that in-class program components will be accommodated individually once you can travel to Canada.
Orientation is a great way for all new students to learn more about life in Canada and Canadian classrooms. We will provide you lots of helpful information on topics such as Canadian culture, housing, safety, health insurance and we will also have some fun events for you to join as well.
