St. Lawrence College (SLC) in Brockville invites prospective students and their supporters and guests to discover college life at its annual Fall Open House on Friday, November 7, 2025, 5 pm to 7 pm.
At Open House visitors can explore college facilities, connect with faculty and current students, and learn about programs, classroom, lab, and study spaces, services and resources, and how SLC ensures its students succeed. The college now boasts over 135,000 alumni in its sixty years of training skilled graduates and is proudly committed to putting students first.
"Our Fall Open House events are a perfect way to discover what makes SLC a vibrant and supportive place to learn and grow," said Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO. "Whether exploring programs, wanting to learn about pathways, or if you have already chosen to attend SLC, Open House is a great opportunity to see our facilities and meet SLC students and team members. We will be showcasing our programs, our campus life and community, and student services and we look forward to welcoming prospective students and their guests to campus."
The Brockville Open House will spotlight its renowned Firefighter, Nursing, and Personal Support Worker programs and attendees will have opportunities to visit classrooms, speak with program faculty, and connect with future classmates in these high-demand fields.
Open House visitors can look forward to:
- Details about financial aid options and the new entrance bursaries
- Information on transferring previous academic credits through Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR)
- Exploration of online and part-time study options
- Guided tours of campus facilities and student residence
- Information about student life at SLC
