SLC Hosts Spring Open House at Kingston Campus

St. Lawrence College (SLC) invites prospective students and their families to experience campus life firsthand at the Kingston Campus Spring Open House on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 

Whether you've already applied and want to learn more about your program, or you're still deciding on your next step, this three-hour event has something for everyone. Enjoy campus tours, program information sessions, live program demonstrations including Fitness and Health Promotion, Esthetician, Mechanical Technician, Civil Engineering Technology, Nursing, and more. 

"We built our programs around what employers are actually looking for, and Open House is the perfect opportunity to see that up close,” said Glenn Vollebregt, SLC President and CEO. “Talk to our faculty in Nursing, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technician, Fitness and Health Promotion, Esthetician, and more, and you'll understand why SLC graduates find work in their field."  

Event Schedule 
 
• Doors open: 9:00 am.  
• Program Information Sessions: 9:30 a.m.  and 11am –start in the cafeteria  
• Student Life & Services Fair: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00pm 
• OSAP Information Sessions: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  
• Campus tours follow each program information session or from the cafeteria  

Throughout the morning, visitors can explore the classrooms and labs where they'll study, attend live program demonstrations, and connect one-on-one with professors to learn about curriculum, career prospects, and more. Connect with college staff with questions about OSAP and financial aid, wellness, and accessibility, and enjoy engaging activities and giveaways throughout the event. 

There's Still Time to Apply 
Haven't applied yet? There's still time. Prospective students who apply to an open program at SLC during the event will receive a voucher covering the $150 OCAS application fee. Attendees are encouraged to have an active ontariocolleges.ca profile ready to log in and apply on the spot. Limited quantities are available; terms and conditions apply.
