St. Lawrence College (SLC) was informed that a student in a program running on the Kingston campus has tested positive for COVID-19.
In order to respect the privacy and maintain confidentiality of the student’s medical information, SLC can only confirm they were last on the Kingston campus the week of November 2. Their contraction of COVID-19 is being followed-up on by public health.
Following established protocols, SLC continues to work closely with the Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington Health Unit (KFL&A Public Health). Individuals who have been in close contact with the affected person and are deemed at risk are being notified by KFL&A Public Health directly.
