POSITION SUMMARY
Performs a variety of technical tasks in the operation and demonstration of the College’s Hairstyling facilities and equipment. Reinforces best practices and correct methods of Hairstyling techniques. (as demonstrated and instructed by faculty). Maintains active lab inventories for all salon supplies, ensure the Dynamic Design Full time technician is aware of refill requirements. Maintains cleanliness of spa & labs. Fulfill the roles laid out in the lab protocols including receiving, organization of client appointments fees, and reconciliations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 2-year Hairstyling diploma and Ontario Trades Certificate as a Hairstylist.
A minimum of 5 years of licensed experience in a hairstyling studio.
Other Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in a broad range of Hairstyling services including textured hair services, chemical perming and relaxing
- Analysis and problem-solving skills

- Good time management and coordination skills
- Ability to follow instructions

- Good understanding of program requirements

Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location.
Salary & Terms
- Support Group: Pay Band F
- Hours per week: 24
- Start Rate: $28.97/hour, plus 6% in lieu of vacation
