POSITION summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment of eligible program seekers for the Pre-Apprenticeship Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) residential program. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment, eligibility check, interview, and selection of potential applicants into the Pre-apprenticeship HVAC on the Kingston campus. Selected program participants will have the opportunity to participate in Level 1 training, employability, and health & safety. Upon completion of the training, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for securing work placements for Job Seeker participants, preparing placement agreements, monitoring placements, and putting employment supports in place, where required. The Project Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the completion of Pre-Apprenticeship Participant forms and completing Ministry reports.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 3-year diploma/degree in a relevant field of study such as Social Work, Human Resources, or Marketing.
A minimum of 3 years of related experience in career consulting, job development, marketing, direct sales, and recruitment and selection with an emphasis on direct sales and relevant volunteer experience.

- Proven ability to plan and coordinate deliverables such as workshops, training, and work experiences
Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:
The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location and work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy.
Salary & Terms
- Support Group: Pay Band H
- Start Rate: $36.29/hour, plus 6% in lieu of vacation.
- Hours per week: 35
- Contract End Date: December 19, 2025, with the possibility of extension.
