Artist Statement
I have an art practice spanning decades that uses printmaking and papermaking techniques separately and sometimes in combination. I have developed paper pulp painting effects which I have called Fluid Paper because the images develop with finely beaten and pigmented paper pulp that has painterly qualities. Screen Printing has the capacity to provide both bold colour effects and fine detail. All of these elements have technical challenges, but this is what probably draws me back again and again to the studio.
