Indigenous Artist Bio
Donna has always been an artist at heart, took art courses throughout her adult life, and finally began her full time career when moving to Kingston, Ontario in 1995. She attended classes at the St. Lawrence Campus, Brockville, earning a Certificate in Fine Arts with Distinction in 1999. She painted for many years at Sydenham Street Studios in Kingston, was represented by many Galleries, and has been accepted in numerous juried shows.
Donna’s paintings are found in private and corporate collections across Canada and the United States. In 2019 she was proud to be elected as a member of the Society of Canadian Artists. She now paints at her Studio at her home on Desert Lake, Ontario.
Artist Statement
I am passionate about my art practice. Use of many different art materials and varied subject matter always keeps things interesting and exciting. I believe that the best paintings express feeling, and often express that which cannot be conveyed through words. I hope to communicate and share my vision and passion with the viewer.
