Unveiling the A. Britton Smith Centre for Behavioural Studies

The sign for the A. Britton Smith Centre for Behavioural Studies is shown on green grass on the Kingston campus.

Story idea submitted by Liz Gorman, Director, Development and Alumni Relations, and Marie Miller, Senior Development Officer

In recognition of the incredible philanthropic support the Britton Smith Foundation provided to SLC through the Uncommon Campaign, SLC proudly unveiled the new naming of the A. Britton Smith Centre for Behavioural Studies on May 13. This was shared with Mr. Smith on his 101st birthday with a video greeting and sign unveiling by Glenn Vollebregt.

Located on the College's Kingston campus, the A. Britton Smith Centre for Behavioural Studies is a hub for researchers, faculty, students, behaviour analysts, and community service providers to work together to advance the science of behaviour analysis. While the building itself is currently closed due to COVID-19, the Centre quickly adapted to provide virtual clinical services and a virtual group program for waitlist clients. Watch for the website branding and interior signage to be updated in the coming months.
