All employees have access to the services of the Employee & Family Assistance Plan (EFAP) through Morneau Shepell. This includes full-time employees, and since June it also includes part-time employees.
The EFAP is a free service that provides employees and their eligible family members access to a number of resources to assist with a wide range of challenges or topics, including:
- Achieving well-being
- Improving nutrition
- Managing relationships and family
- Dealing with workplace challenges
- Tackling addictions
- Finding child and elder care resources
- Receiving legal advice
- Receiving financial guidance
- And much more!
SLC employees can connect with the EFAP by calling 1.800.387.4765, by going online to workhealthlife.com, or through their mobile app MY EAP. When you connect to access the service, please ensure you indicate whether you are a full-time or part-time employee.
