Calling on community volunteers to join the SLC Board of Governors
The St. Lawrence College Board of Governors is looking to fill multiple positions on the board for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Board terms in question will begin on September 1, 2026, and run for three-years, each with the opportunity to be renewed for a second, three-year term.
In these important roles, members of the Board of Governors will ensure SLC's accountability to its students, mission and vision, where governors will engage with members of the College’s senior leadership team, utilizing their unique experience in supporting SLC’s strategic plan, SLC in Five +3.
With a network of over 136,000 alumni – many of whom work, live, and thrive in Eastern Ontario – we are seeking individuals committed to student success, community engagement, and promoting the College’s core values of Students First, Innovation, Integrity, Teamwork, and Belonging.
To ensure a balanced board matrix, we welcome all to apply however encourage community leaders with a background in finance/accounting and/or healthcare to submit an application, in addition to those with previous governance board experience.
