In general, here is a little bit about SLC and the Board of Governors role:
Members of the Board of Governors will steward SLC’s $170-million post-secondary business operation. Ensuring SLC's accountability to its students, mission and vision, board governors will engage with members of the College’s senior management team, utilizing your experience in supporting SLC’s strategic plan, SLC in Five: slcinfive.ca
With a network of over 125,000 alumni – many of whom work, live, and thrive in Eastern Ontario – we are seeking individuals committed to student success, community engagement, and promoting the College’s core values: Students First, Innovation, Integrity, Teamwork, and Belonging.
St. Lawrence College is at the forefront of creating the next generation of community leaders, providing industry-driven education and training to more than 10,000 students across Eastern Ontario each year. SLC contributes more than $860 million to the regional economy every year and engages with businesses and communities to support local economic growth.
