POSITION SUMMARY
The Programs Assistant, Campus Recreation & Intramurals plays a vital role in the delivery of Intramurals, Campus Recreation, and Student Engagement programming at St. Lawrence College. This position supports the execution of a wide variety of programs, events, and services that enhance the student experience and foster campus engagement. Working closely with the Campus Recreation & Fitness Coordinator, these students help bring intramurals & campus recreation programs to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution/delivery of Intramurals, Campus Recreation, and Student Engagement programming.
- Assist with intramural league operations, special events, and student engagement initiatives.
- Support the delivery of an engaging and memorable campus recreation experience through fan engagement initiatives, promotional activities, and school spirit development.
- Act as a positive and visible representative of student life by promoting programs, engaging with students, and fostering a welcoming campus environment.
- Contribute a student perspective to the development and enhancement of programming, services, and events.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Salary & Terms
- Start Rate: $17.95/hour, plus 6% in lieu of vacation
- Hours per week: 12

Terms of Employment:
- Must be currently enrolled in Full-Time studies at St. Lawrence College OR returning to Full-Time studies in the immediate upcoming semester.
- Must be in good academic standing for full duration of employment.
