Please follow the steps below to complete your Application for Graduation:
- Login to SLC.me
- Scroll down past the Important Updates and select the
icon - Click on the Academic Records tab.
- Choose the
tab on the left side of the screen. - Flip the switch beside “Select to Apply” to “Yes”, and then click the “Apply” button on the bottom right.

- Students must complete all program requirements by June 1st to be eligible for Convocation 2026
- Current Summer graduates and students that are completing any Summer courses will be eligible to attend next year's convocation ceremony in Spring 2027
What is Convocation regalia?
Convocation regalia refers to the academic attire that is worn during the graduation ceremony. (Gown and stole or hood)
Do I need to wear regalia to participate in my Convocation ceremony?
Yes. All graduates planning to participate in Convocation must wear the regalia provided by St. Lawrence College. If you are Indigenous from Turtle Isalnd (North America), you are encouraged to wear your traditional regalia.
How do I order my regalia?
Regalia must be ordered online through the College’s official provider, Gaspard. You will receive an email with ordering details. The link to order your gown will be available on the Convocation page of the St. Lawrence College website and sent to your student email.
When does the rental website open?
The website will open on Friday May, 1st 2026.
When is the deadline to order regalia?
Brockville – Sunday May 17th 2026
Cornwall – Sunday May 22nd 2026
Kingston – Sunday May 31st, 2026
Do I have to pay for my regalia?
The rental cost for convocation regalia gown is $35. It is highly recommended to pay for your gown ahead of time as the fee to rent your gown will be increased on site the day of your ceremony.
How will I receive my regalia?
Regalia will be provided to graduates when they arrive and check in at their Convocation ceremony.
Do I need to return my regalia after the ceremony?
Yes. Graduates must return all regalia following the ceremony at the designated return location.
I am an Indigenous student. Can I wear my traditional regalia? Indigenous graduates from (Turtle Island) North America are encouraged to wear traditional regalia.

If you are attending Convocation in Cornwall, due to limited capacity inside the theatre, only two guests are permitted inside the theatre. We are expecting to reach capacity and seating is on first come, first served basis. If you wish to bring more guests, there will be a large room with screens for loved ones to watch the ceremony.
If you are attending Convocation in Brockville the guest limit is three. Please note that we are expecting to reach capacity and seating is on first come, first served basis. If you wish to bring more guests, there will be a large room with screens for loved ones to watch the ceremony.
If you are attending Convocation in Kingston, the guest limit is six.
Graduates cannot reserve more than the allotted amounts of guests for each ceremony.

All ceremonies will be live-streamed on the day of the ceremony and will be available for viewing following the ceremony. The ceremony link will be available on the Convocation and Graduating section of the St. Lawrence College website, on the day of the ceremony.
On the Convocation Registration Form, there will be an accessibility section where you can request the accessibility requirements you would desire. Alternatively, you can email convocation@sl.on.ca with your or your guest's accessibility requirements
SLC cannot provide Invitation Letters; however, you can contact your International Student Advisor for general information and guidance on the letter's requirements.

Yes, guests can bring cameras and recording devices but are asked to remain in their seats.
Ceremonies in Brockville and Cornwall run approximately one to one and half hours. Kingston ceremonies run approximately two to two and a half hours.

You will first need to apply to graduate through SLC.me. Steps for applying to graduate are in the section above.
You will ALSO need to complete the Convocation registration form. This will be sent to your student email address in April; the deadline for completing this form is 2 weeks before your ceremony start date.
If you have not received this email by May, please check your spam and “other” folder. If it still is not there, email convocation@sl.on.ca.
There will be a professional photographer at Convocation who will be taking photos of graduates. In order to avoid disruption during the ceremony, guests are asked to stay seated and only take photos from their seats.
In order to receive their photos, graduates will receive proofs to the email they provided as part of their registration. Students will only pay if they choose to order photos.
