Artist Statement
I’m an Artist who grew up in Brockville, Ontario, inspired by the unconventional and whimsical world that was thrown at me. The good and bad, my art is like sitting on a fence. I use old photographs and mementos I’ve collected along the way, as well as thrifted fabrics, to inspire what I create. The main mediums I currently work with are a variety of paints, character design, textiles, sculpture, collage, print making, and digital art. In my work I express the loss of innocence and celebration of life, internalizing discarded unwanted or personal items into works of art.
