SLC’s Library team is excited to announce new and expanded services for contactless book pickup, scanning service, and book returns. Services will continue to expand in the coming weeks.

SLC will be hosting its 12th Learning Connections Conference (LCC) this year as a virtual gathering in the spring. Find out more about the conference, apply to be part of the Program Development Sub-Committee, and other ways you can be involved.

The City of Kingston is conducting a Community and Consumer Confidence Survey, which is now live. The survey was created as part of a Queen’s University PhD-Community Initiative, in conjunction with City Communications and the Community Confidence Working Group, which SLC is part of.

Throughout March, SLC Therapeutic Recreation students will be offering a variety of live virtual leisure programs for Kingstonians of all ages and abilities in a partnership with Kingston Gets Active (KGA). The activity sessions will be hosted on Zoom for anyone to view and join in!

Third-year students in SLC’s Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology program are working on their final projects. Learn how students are connecting theory with practical applications in part one of this two-part story.
