DESIGNER BIO

I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator who specializes in combining compelling visual design with impactful story-telling. Throughout my education, I have gained a deep respect for both printed and online media, thriving in areas such as branding, interaction design, and typography. Throughout my life, I have always maintained a true passion for the arts, pursuing dreams and learning related skills every chance I get. I can often be seen carrying my sketchbook, always wanting to capture life’s Prequiet moments on paper. During my down-time, I love to paint, read, sew, and explore the outdoors.

HOBBY HUB
COURSE
Interaction Design 4
OBJECTIVE
To create a mobile application that demonstrates an educational goal. Hobby Hub allows creative individuals to learn diverse skills in dance, art, and sport practices with a milestone based system, complete with rewards.
DESCRIPTION
The branding and visual identity of Hobby Hub promotes an open and welcoming platform, with curved shapes and soft colour palettes encouraging users to try something new. The monochromatic app interface stands alongside a strong typographical hierarchy (featuring soft slab serifs that are both gentle and reliable) to create a cohesive brand presence.
LEAF & ROOT
COURSE
Brand Identity Design 1, Interaction Design 3
OBJECTIVE
To ideate and create a student oriented e-commerce brand and associated website. Leaf & Root specializes in domesticated plants and plant care, bringing life to the homes of experienced gardeners and beginners alike.
DESCRIPTION
Leaf & Root’s brand identity is largely based off organic colour values and associated imagery. The logo itself represents both the corporate activity and name in an abstract manner, the shape of the “L” playing the role of roots within soil, while the “R” showcases blooms and leaves. The deep green featured throughout associated applications, is often paired with sage-toned illustrations and natural imagery.
dIVERSE DIALOGUES
COURSE
Typography 4
OBJECTIVE
To create a conference campaign for Diverse Dialogues, an event representing equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workspace among employees.
DESCRIPTION
The imagery utilized within this campaign shows a cookie-cutter figure of a person, with differently shaped heads. This visual helps celebrate individual diversity not just in the physical sense, but in minds and ways of thinking, which relates back to the nature of the event.
