DESIGNER BIO

Potrait photograph of E Campbell

I’m a designer specializing in brand identity, with a focus on creating visual systems that help brands communicate clearly and connect with their audiences. I enjoy balancing
strategy and creativity to build identities that feel both engaging and purposeful. In the future, I plan to return to school to study marketing so I can expand my skills in brand
strategy and audience engagement. My long-term goal is to either start my own creative company or work in sports media, combining my interests in design, storytelling, and athletics. Outside of design, I enjoy going camping, going to live events, and finding inspiration through music and sports culture, which influences my creativeness.

CANADIAN SCHOOL LIBRARIES

COURSE

Brand Identity Design 2

OBJECTIVE

Canadian School Libraries is a national non-profit supporting school libraries and educators across Canada. This project focused on redesigning its existing logo into a modern, accessible logo to strength recognition and consistency across digital and print platforms.

DESCRIPTION

This was able to be done by using effect colours that are exact uses of colour by the Canadian government, and using an effect, modern but abstract symbol to display the Canadian heritage of this logo. The type also reinforces the maturity of the library chain.
