St. Lawrence College scores above average marks in annual survey

Nearly 90 per cent (89.7) of St. Lawrence College (SLC) graduates are working within six months of graduating, scoring above the provincial average of 85.7 per cent, according to the annual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) survey released recently.

St. Lawrence College also scored well above the provincial average in three of the four of the top KPIs:

85.1 per cent of St. Lawrence College graduates were satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of their education; provincially, the graduate satisfaction rate was 79.5 per cent.

75.5 per cent of St. Lawrence College students were satisfied or very satisfied with the quality of education, while 73.4 per cent of students across the province reported satisfaction.

89.2 per cent employers said they are satisfied or very satisfied with the SLC graduates they have hired.

“SLC consistently scores above the provincial average for the graduate employment rate and the other KPI’s,” said Glenn Vollebregt, President and CEO, St. Lawrence College. “Not only do these scores show us what we’re doing right, they show us that our work is never done, and how we can improve our college services and programs to meet the needs of our students.”

Provincial KPIs are gathered annually by two independent research firms for the colleges, and for the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
