St. Lawrence College Invites Input on Integration with Fleming College  

St. Lawrence College (SLC) is inviting students, employees, alumni, community members, and industry partners to participate in virtual engagement opportunities regarding the planned integration of SLC and Fleming College.   

SLC and Fleming College have been working toward creating a stronger, more sustainable institution that can expand access to education, respond to regional workforce needs, and continue to best serve students, employers, and communities across Eastern Ontario.  

As part of this work, the colleges have developed a structured engagement program to provide people with opportunities to share input throughout the integration process. Those wishing to provide comments and suggestions can email integration@sl.on.ca. Feedback can also be shared through a series of short, rotating survey questions that can be accessed via stlawrencecollege.ca/integration. Survey links will also be shared via social media and on digital display boards across campuses. All responses will be kept confidential and will not be shared publicly.  

Through engagement opportunities, participants can learn more about the integration, ask questions, share perspectives, and help inform key decisions about direction, priorities, and opportunities for the future, according to Glenn Vollebregt, President and CEO, SLC.

As integration planning progresses, the shared goal remains to enhance access to programs and services, expand pathways for learners, strengthen industry partnerships, and position the blended institution for long-term sustainability. Through this structured engagement program, participants will be encouraged to share ideas and input as planning continues.
