Indigenous 
SLC's College Prep program will offer a free 6-day/30-hour "bootcamp" in July. This in-person bootcamp introduces you to essential technical and academic skills in a college environment before the fall term begins, with the goal of ensuring you’re prepared, confident, and ready to succeed from the very first day of your future studies.
Delivered over six days on SLC’s Kingston campus July 9-24:
- Thursdays 10am-4pm (July 9, 16, 23)
- Fridays 1-4pm (July 10, 17, 24)
In just 30 hours, you’ll build a strong foundation of skills in:
- Digital tools like TypistApp and Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and PowerPoint
- Essential office procedures and workflows
- Organization, time management, and professional communication
Who should take this program?
- Anyone considering attending college who are interested in gaining office admin skills and experiencing the college environment
- Applicants or confirmed students entering business programs at SLC in Fall 2026, including Office Administration, Business, or Business Fundamentals
Free for qualified learners (Canadian citizens 18+ years old or individuals with a permanent residence card or protected person status).
