St. Lawrence College is proud to celebrate Computer Programming student Pablo Lopez Sandoval, who earned a bronze medal at the 2026 Skills Ontario Web Design and Development competition.
An international student from Mexico, Pablo will graduate this June from the Cornwall campus. His achievement marks a second consecutive year of success for the program, following Ayyoub Ouakahha’s Gold medal win in 2025, read more about that win here.
Launched in 2022, the Computer Programming program equips students with in-demand skills in web development, software development, and database administration, preparing them to excel in competitive, real-world environments. Pablo’s success reflects the strength of this hands-on, industry-focused training.
Other students also represented the SLC at Skills Ontario this year, including:
• Damien Suave (Coding Competition), graduating from Computer Programming
• Ayyoub Ouakahha (Cloud Computing), graduating from Computer Programming
• Keenan Goddart (IT Administration and Networking), graduating from Computer Systems Technician
While the Web Design and Development competition does not advance to nationals, the experience provides valuable opportunities for students to showcase their talents and benchmark their skills.
Congratulations to Pablo and all SLC competitors for their outstanding efforts and dedication.
