Pamela Shea, SLC professor in the Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology program, has been awarded the prestigious Academic (Teaching) Award by the Ontario Association of Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA). This award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to teaching behaviour analysis across the province.

The ONTABA Academic Award celebrates faculty members at institutions of higher learning who demonstrate sustained exemplary work or significant contributions to student education in the field of behaviour analysis. With universities offering programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels throughout Ontario, competition for this recognition is considerable.

"It is a very big honour," Pamela said. "To be recognized from a small college is truly incredible and something I never thought would ever happen. I am touched with the support, and especially from all the past and present students who have come forward to congratulate me, I am so very lucky to teach such extraordinary students."
