Introducing MasterClass at SLC: A New Approach to Building Student Leaders

This fall, we’re proud to launch MasterClass at SLC, an innovative two-semester leadership program designed to prepare the next generation of student leaders. This exclusive opportunity combines globally acclaimed MasterClass content, in-person workshops, and a culminating student-led professional development conference. 
  
As participants, students will gain full access to the MasterClass library, learning directly from some of the most recognized thought leaders of our time. They’ll explore lessons from Carol Dweck (Mindset), James Clear (Atomic Habits), Ryan Holiday (Resilience), Pharrell Williams (Empathy), Amy Poehler (Collaboration), and more! Plus, students will have access to an entire suite of inspiring content from industry icons like Mindy Kaling, Mark Cuban, Malcolm Gladwell, Chris Hadfield, Lewis Hamilton, Margaret Atwood, and many more. 
  
Throughout the program, students will:

1. Develop skills in communication, emotional intelligence, relationship building, strategic thinking, goal setting, adaptability, and more 
2. Build accountability and connection with their cohort of peers 
3. Apply their learning by planning and delivering a campus-wide leadership conference 
4. Earn a digital badge for their St. Lawrence Experience Record (SER) and receive a formal Statement of Achievement 
  
MasterClass at SLC is a unique opportunity for ambitious students to learn from global experts, apply their knowledge in a real-world scenario, build new connections, and gain experience that helps them stand out from the crowd.
