Hairstyling Class of 2026 Celebrated at Annual Awards Event

Faculty and students recently gathered to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2026 Hairstyling Accelerated Diploma graduating class. The cohort was recognized during a special awards celebration and potluck, marking the successful completion of their program. The annual event celebrates the dedication, talent, and professionalism demonstrated by students throughout their studies. Awards, generously donated by industry partners, were presented to graduates selected through an internal voting process conducted by hairstyling faculty and support staff. 
 
Each award recognizes excellence in a unique area of the hairstyling profession: 
 
Grace Murray: Redken Elite Award  
A student who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, a strong professional work ethic, and a commitment to product knowledge and prescriptive services. The recipient also exhibits enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and continued artistic growth throughout the program. 
 
Delany Hutchings: NP Group Beauty Supply Award  
A graduate who has demonstrated outstanding technical skill, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in the hair design industry.  
 
Jessica Heard: Cosmoprof Professionalism Award  
For consistently modeling professionalism in both appearance and conduct, contributes positively to class culture, and demonstrates dedication to the profession.  
 
Abigail Huffman: SalonCentric Engagement Award  
For exceptional participation and engagement in both the practical and theoretical components of the program across all three semesters.  
 
While these awards recognize individual achievements, the celebration honoured the accomplishments of the entire graduating class. Every graduate demonstrated resilience, growth, and dedication throughout the accelerated program, and faculty are incredibly proud of all they have achieved.
