Esthetician students get hands-on demo from Eminence Organics

SLC Esthetician students recently learned from Meagan Metcalfe of Eminence Organics in Toronto, who led an engaging hands-on educational session.

Meagan introduced students to traditional Hungarian facial massage, a signature Eminence technique combining rhythmic movements to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and enhance the facial experience. Students observed each step while learning the importance of thorough client consultations to tailor services to individual skin types, concerns, and goals. They've since begun incorporating these techniques into their client labs.

A highlight was watching the Blueberry Detox Firming Peel in action: students saw the model's skin flush as active ingredients stimulated circulation, illustrating how professional products work and reinforcing the importance of understanding ingredients, skin responses, and client communication.

Meagan also covered the Eminence product line, emphasizing its natural, organic, Biodynamic ingredients and Hungarian heritage, and taught students how to select and customize products for optimal results. She discussed Eminence's sustainability commitments, including its Certified B Corporation status and "Plant a Tree for Every Product Sold" initiative.

These experiences offer invaluable exposure to industry techniques and product knowledge, bridging classroom learning and real-world spa practice. We're grateful to Meagan and Eminence Organics for inspiring our future estheticians as they build their skills and confidence.
