St. Lawrence College Announces New Cornwall Campus Dean 
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Haley to the role of Dean Interdisciplinary Studies and Pathways and the Cornwall Campus. Jennifer will begin her new role effective February 12, 2024.  In the last six years at SLC, Jennifer has demonstrated inclusive and progressive leadership, first as Cornwall Campus Associate Dean, then as Associate Dean for Interdisciplinary Studies and Pathways. Most recently Jennifer has contributed towards successful programs and student success as Associate Dean for Allied Health.  
St. Lawrence College and SpacesShared partnership creates new affordable housing options for students
St. Lawrence College (SLC) has partnered with SpacesShared, an online platform and team that pairs students looking for affordable accommodations with older adults who have extra space in their homes. The partnership will create new housing options for SLC students in Kingston and give older adults a way to leverage a spare bedroom for some extra income, company, and assistance around the home. Plans are to add Brockville and Cornwall in the coming months as well. 
St. Lawrence College Welcomes New Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer  
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to welcome Erin Farrell to its executive team as the new Senior Vice-President, Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Erin will begin her new appointment on February 1, 2024.  Erin’s role will include leading the College’s Finance, Risk and Insurance, Facilities Management, and Information Technology Services. Erin is well known to SLC, as she has been at the College for close to ten years, with most of that time as SLC's Director of Finance. 
St. Lawrence College to Offer Registered Nurse – Prescribing Program
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is pleased to announce that it will offer new training to registered nurses (RNs) to expand their role to include prescribing of medications. Earlier this year, the Ontario government announced they would allow registered nurses to prescribe medications, after meeting specific requirements, for certain conditions such as contraception, immunizations, smoking cessation, and topical wound care in a variety of settings including long-term care homes and retirement homes.
St. Lawrence College Graduate Wins Provincial Premier’s Award 
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is thrilled to announce that alumnus Saifullah Sanaye is the recipient of a prestigious provincial Premier’s Award in the Apprenticeship category. The announcement was made November 27 during a ceremony to celebrate Ontario’s outstanding college graduates in Toronto.
