Artist Bio
Laura Boszormeny is a certified Ontario Hooking Craft Guild teacher and earned the Fibre Arts Certificate from St. Lawrence College. She has been rug hooking since 1974, has been published in Rug Hooking magazine, and received the People’s Choice Award for Helios’ Harvest in Celebrations XVII. Laura has contributed articles to the OHCG Newsletter and The Burlap Gazette for the OHCG Teachers’ Branch. She is a lifelong learner and takes courses and workshops to upgrade her skills, in addition, to teaching workshops across the province. Laura enjoys teaching and challenging her students to develop their unique talents through original designs and dyeing their own materials.
