Duties

Reporting to the Manager of Business Intelligence, the CRM Technician role provides technical support for the CRM (Salesforce) within the Department of Innovation and Business Engagement. The incumbent provides administration, system configuration, maintenance, and user support. The incumbent builds, updates and maintains reports, queries, and dashboards; builds, tests, deploys, and updates CRM workflows, custom record types, profiles, and fields; and supports the analysis of data to inform College decision making. The incumbent provides training for new and existing users; and may need to participate in meetings to discuss new processes to be implemented in Salesforce.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

A minimum of a 3-year diploma/degree in a field of study such as Marketing and/or Business Analytics.

A minimum of 3 years working experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing automation systems (Salesforce preferred). Experience analyzing data to understand trends and draw  insights. Experience with HTML. Experience in identifying challenges and opportunities and taking initiative to recommend and implement solutions that improve operational effectiveness. Experience in contributing to setting work priorities and supporting a team in achieving operational goals.

Other Required Qualifications:  

  • Ability to communicate data in written, verbal, and visual forms
  • Ability to troubleshoot CRM problems and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and data gathering planning
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to coordinate with communications officer on marketing and promotion activities to ensure data tracking of campaigns
  • Knowledge of Power Bi, SEO optimize, and analytical software
  • Ability to ensure data integrity through data organization and analysis
  • Interpersonal and customer/relationship skills

Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:

The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location or work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy. Incumbent may be required to lift light objects (up to 5 kg or 11 lbs) such as moving a computer monitor, desktop computer, and printer.

Salary & Terms

  • Support Group: Pay Band G
  • Hours per week: 24
  • Start Rate: $29.35/hour, plus 6% in lieu of vacation.
