Secondary students are in the process of completing the Women in Trades and Technology (WITTS) program offered by the PASS/Dual Credit office at SLC. Ten students from high schools within the Limestone District School Board (LDSB) are participating in the WITTS dual credit program, which allows students to receive a college credit in SHOP2 in addition to their regular high school credits. The program also lets high school students experience college and gain exposure to technology and skilled trades. WITTS students will be on the College’s Kingston campus until mid-June in order to experience the College’s programs in the following areas: culinary, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, millwright, masonry, and welding.
