Islamic Books Donated to Cornwall Campus Library
When a group of Muslim teenagers in Cornwall looked for books on Islamic civilization and culture in their local libraries, they discovered a dearth in reading materials, and the books they did find were not representative of Islam’s essential beliefs. With this need in mind, they approached their mentor, SLC’s Dr. Muhammad Owais Aziz, faculty in Interdisciplinary Studies and Pathways, for help.
Accounting students solve real-world problems in annual case competition
The 13th annual SLC Accounting Case Competition was held virtually this past week, from Thursday, February 11 to Saturday, February 12, 2022. Third year Business Administration – Accounting program student teams from both Kingston and Cornwall campuses participated in this incredible action-oriented learning opportunity.

City of Kingston Partners with SLC for Real-world, 'Action Learning' Projects
A partnership kicked off last week between The City of Kingston and St. Lawrence College’s (SLC) School of Business to give emerging professionals real-life experience, while supporting City projects and services. Both SLC’s Advertising/Marketing Communications (AMC) diploma program and graduate certificate program in Digital Marketing Communications (DMC) have culminating capstone courses where students work in a simulated Ad Agency situation.
Faculty Publish Findings in National Academic Journal
School of Business faculty Adam McGregor, Christina Decarie, Wendy Whitehead, and Vice President International Education, Shelley Aylesworth-Spink, recently published an article in the national academic journal, the Canadian Journal of Action Research.
