This course builds on the previous course in applied behaviour analysis, PSYC 5 and examines techniques to teach new behaviours and reduce behaviours, as well as those involved in behaviour maintenance and generalization.  Overall, it is intended to develop the student’s abilities to create complete treatment plans using applied behavioural analysis.  By the end of the course the student will demonstrate skills in assessment, program design and program writing with children and youth, as well as individuals with developmental disabilities and psychiatric disorders.
