MUTH 32

This applied course expands ballet technique to an intermediate level by depending upon muscle memory for execution.  New terminology is introduced and demonstration is provided by instructor for new techniques.

Through systematic assessment of their performance, students have the opportunity to improve their ability to reproduce technique based on muscle memory, visual reproduction and verbal cuing.

Steps are taught individually and in combination with reinforcement of technique.

Students are expected to have an understanding of the format of the ballet class and the physical demands required at an intermediate level.
