This course provides private instruction in applied areas of study. In the Music and Digital Media Program, these include Performance (instrumental or vocal lessons) and in Audio Recording. Performance students are required to demonstrate improved skills in technique, sight-reading, interpretation and the successful realization of their repertoire. They are expected to perform on at least one concert during the year and to prepare a year-end jury.

Recording students gain an understanding of theoretical, technical, creative and artistic principles of sound and recording. Their evaluation includes the teachers’ assessment of work throughout the semester and final projects.
