MARK 101

This course provides students with a sound grounding in the field of marketing. Emphasis is placed on the formulation and management of integrated marketing strategies that play a role in achieving organizational objectives. Students will examine the role of marketing in society and will develop an enhanced awareness of the marketing process. This course examines the consumer market for goods and services and then proceeds to examine the major decision areas of marketing: identifying and selecting targets; product; price; distribution; and marketing communications.
