IETT 941

The student will spent 2 days per week for the duration of the semester at a relevant work site(s) approved by the program coordinator. The student is expected to dress, act, and take direction like a typical employee of the host company. Students will learn work place etiquette and customs, health and safety practices, group dynamics and supervisor expectations in a "real job" environment. Work may be "job shadow" or "project" in nature. Students will be required to prepare and present a technical report in conjunction the work placement. See also IETT 141 Technical Project.

Prerequisite: all courses to the end of 5th semester.

NOTE: Students who have successfully completed any one of the available co-op terms, will receive a credit for this work placement experience course.
